Wild & Worthy was born from a personal journey through infertility, adoption, motherhood, and the people who helped us along the way.
What started as our own story became a deep desire to come alongside other families who are saying yes to adoption—and to help make that yes a little more possible.
I'm Shelby, the founder of Wild & Worthy.
My husband, Dylan, and I met in high school, fell in love, and got married at 22. Our family has grown in ways we never could have planned, and our story has shaped so much of why Wild & Worthy exists today.
After walking through several years of infertility treatments, we became parents through adoption when our first daughter, Briar, joined our family in 2022.
In 2025, our family grew again when we welcomed our second daughter, Ruby, through adoption.
Our adoption journey completely changed the way I see family, motherhood, and the incredible community that surrounds adoption. It also opened my eyes to just how many hopeful families are ready to say yes, but can find themselves facing overwhelming financial barriers.
Wild & Worthy is my way of turning that experience into something bigger than our own story—creating support, hope, and opportunity for other families walking the road to adoption.
And when I'm not working on Wild & Worthy, you'll usually find me chasing my two girls around with our two dogs, Hotch and Nox, close behind.
Every child is wildly loved.
